05 / 05 · Luxene Nexus
The intelligence behind the light.
Nexus is the intelligence layer behind Luxene’s road-integrated orientation lighting. It enables digital control of the light line today and provides the foundation for increasingly adaptive road guidance as new data sources and capabilities are integrated.
Designed to evolve, Nexus enables new intelligence, integrations and control capabilities to be introduced over time, making the Luxene system increasingly responsive without replacing the road-integrated light line.
01 · Monitor

02 · Respond
Intelligent lighting that responds to changing conditions.
Installation-dependent
Nexus enables the light line to respond automatically to changing conditions. When rain reduces visibility, for example, the system can increase the light intensity to provide clearer road guidance.
Nexus obtains weather information entirely from online data services via APIs. No additional on-site weather sensors or weather-detection hardware are needed, simplifying installation and avoiding extra sensor maintenance. Reliable operation depends on connectivity, the availability and quality of the weather data, and the installation configuration. Automatic rain response is available where enabled; other weather responses remain illustrative or in development.
Installation-dependent

- Normal conditions
- Rain detected
- Light intensity increased
Automatic rain-based brightness adjustment is available; activation depends on the installation.

03 · Control
Precise control. Every 25 metres.
Available today · connected installation required
Nexus enables individual control of 25-metre sections of the light line, allowing lighting intensity and behaviour to vary along the road.
Interactive, illustrative example · 16 sections of 25 m, not a universal installation configuration.
Segment 08
Individual segments can show white, green or red guidance to support situational awareness when needed. This visualisation is illustrative: colour availability depends on the installed laser colours and configuration. Red guidance requires implementation and red lasers; automated incident intelligence remains in development.
04 · Evolve
Built for what comes next.
Planned / in development · illustrative example
Luxene Nexus is designed to evolve. New data sources, intelligent features and control functions can be added over time, continuously expanding what the light line can do without replacing the road-integrated infrastructure.
