Optical system
Each Luxene Laser Module contains 16 lasers, each connected to a dedicated optical fibre serving a 25 m illuminated segment. One module feeds one end of 16 consecutive segments over a 400 m section. A Laser Module in the neighbouring E-Cabinet feeds those same segments from the opposite end.
- One laser → one dedicated fibre → one 25 m segment
- Light is transported optically, not electrically.
- One protective tube from cabinet to road.
Continuous guidance across adjacent sections
E-Cabinet A feeds towards B. E-Cabinet B has two Laser Modules: one feeds towards A and one towards C, with 32 lasers in total. E-Cabinet C feeds towards B. Each 400 m section has 16 segments of 25 m, illuminated from both ends. B feeds 400 m in each direction; A and C provide the opposite-end illumination. These directions run along the light line, not necessarily towards opposite road edges.
